KOLKATA: Samridh Sen put up a strong performance to clinch the BGA West Bengal State Championship 2021, which is the inaugural meet of the fourth edition of the IGU Eastern India Amateur Golf Feeder Tour 2021, on Saturday.
A total of hundred golfers took part in the event.
Samridh Sen was trailing the opening-day leader Md. Rohit after the opening round of the BGA West Bengal State Championship, which was managed by Protouch Sports Pvt Ltd.

Samridh shot an excellent 74 on the final day for a total of 148. Nasim Ali emerged as the runner-up with a total of 151.
In the mid-amateur category, Col Rajesh Kumar secured victory with a total of 158 (75, 83) followed closely by Lt. Col RK Tomar, who was four shots behind with a total of 162 (74, 88).
Vibha Nath secured the top position in the ladies' section with a total of 178 (88, 90). She was followed by Adreeja Ghosh --- with a total of 199 (95, 104) --- on the leaderboard.
Col SK Tiwary emerged victorious in the senior category with a score of 164 (78, 86), followed by Col Rajeev Chauhan and Col Peeyush Khurana with identical scores of 165. In the Super Senior category, Col Feroz Khan with a total score of 173 (87, 86) secured the winning position, followed by Col BL Das with a total of 179 (89, 90).
Aditya Khaitan turned out to be the winner in the under-13 junior category with a score of 164, followed by Prashant Agarwal with 171.
